Dear Future Belmont Homeowner,

Some homes you buy, and some homes you feel. This was one we felt.

From the first time we walked through the door, we could sense its history - the quiet character in the details, the way it had clearly been lived in and loved for generations. It didn’t try to be perfect. It was real, full of personality, and full of potential. We knew right away it deserved to be cared for and appreciated for exactly what it is.

Over time, it became our home in every sense of the word.

We’ve shared slow mornings and long evenings here. We’ve watched the light move through the rooms at different times of day, learned its quirks, and grown to love them. Every project, every improvement, every small decision was made with the intention of honoring the home - not changing it into something it’s not, but helping it continue to be what it has always been.

And then there’s the neighborhood.

There’s something special about this community. The kind of place where the homes have stories, the trees feel like they’ve always been there, and neighbors become familiar faces. It’s a neighborhood that invites you to slow down and take it in. It’s one we’ve come to truly love.

With a home like this (one that has stood for over 85 years) comes a certain understanding. It’s not about perfection. It’s about stewardship. It asks for care, attention, and a willingness to continue its story. And in return, it gives you something far more meaningful than anything new ever could.

We hope the next person who walks through these doors feels what we felt - that sense that this is more than just a house.

And while we’re letting go of this home, we’re not going far. We’ll still be right here on Drehr Ave, continuing to invest in and care for the neighborhood we love.

We’re excited for the next chapter of this home and for the people who get to write it.
